The first version of this stool was designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1927. In 1929, she adapted the design that was exhibited at the “Équipement Intérieur d’une Habitation” [Interior Home Furnishings] show at the Salon d’Automne [Autumn Salon], where it appeared in the bathroom in a version with a terry cloth seat, more suited to the personal care area. The current model features a trivalent chrome-plated steel structure with terry cloth seat. This model is part of the Le Corbusier®, Pierre Jeanneret®, Charlotte Perriand® Collection.
