Design by
Arne Jacobsen
AJ Eklipta was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1956 for Rødovre Town Hall. Two sizes were produced for this project: 13.7″ and 17.7″. They were used indoors on stairways and outdoors as wall lamps. A 8.7″ version was later designed for St. Catherines College in England. Arne Jacobsen preferred the largest model when specifying his own projects. Today, AJ Eklipta is used worldwide and in a variety of architectural contexts.
