“In this project, we have taken a new look at some of the iconic themes of the past in Zanotta sofas. Bruce echoes and modernises the Milano sofa (designed by De Pas-D’Urbino-Lomazzi in 1982), with a seat formed of a single cushion with special stitching to divide it into different sections. Another distinctive element are the aluminium feet, which are set back from the corners to create the effect of “suspension” of the whole sofa structure, emphasising its weightless appearance. We wanted to create a highly modular sofa to become a synonym of relaxation and lightness”.
