Eames Plastic Side Chair RE LSR – Vitra

The compact Plastic Chair RE LSR was a favourite of Charles and Ray Eames: they used the low chair throughout the Eames House, their legendary home in Pacific Palisades, as needed and especially when engaging in conversation with guests. The Plastic Chair RE LSR with its shell made of post-consumer recycled plastic can – unlike the Fiberglass Chair LSR – be utilised both indoors and out.

The LTR (Low Table Rod Base) is a small, versatile occasional table designed by Charles and Ray Eames, who used it in their own home in a variety of different ways. A number of these tables are still found in the Eames House today. Standing individually or in groups, some are decorated with objects collected by the Eameses, while others simply serve as a practical side table next to an armchair or sofa.
