Just as the iris of the eye surrounds the pupil, a series of discs envelops the LED light source creating refractions and sophisticated lighting effects.

The result is an ironic sculptural device with a pop soul, thanks to the use of colour. It is available in two heights and two exclusive finishes, with a touch-sensitive on/off and dimmer mechanism.

A re-edition of the floor lamp designed by Ico Parisi in the 1970s, it is characterized by a central structure, with a polished rear bar into which 49 discs are inserted to support the dimmable LED light source and to create refractions and sophisticated lighting effects, just like the iris of the eye does. This project reflects Parisi’s fascination with the integration of design, art and architecture. The Cassina iMaestri logo and the signature of Ico Parisi are set into the injection-moulded cover at the base of the lamp.
