Created by Danish designer and cabinetmaker Kasper Salto, the KS1 Chair was developed with a focus on longevity and minimal environmental impact. While most wooden chairs rely on molded plywood, the designer chose solid wood throughout to reduce resource use and simplify the production process, resulting in a chair that’s both tactile and timeless. It’s stackable, durable, and comfortable, with a clear expression that feels at home in public spaces, cultural institutions, and community settings.
