The oak frame is polished with wax and the ash frame is stained white or black. The clear glass top.
About oak: The pattern variations on the oak surface are unique. They are not defects but individual features, resulting from the growth of the wood. The patterns tell a tale of the tree’s life – eg. the flamelike zebra stripes are actually medullary rays, that transfer water and nutrients to the inner parts of the trunk.
