Made of Murano glass blown inside cast-iron moulds by skilled artisans, the blocks also retain the unevenness of surfaces hand-worked with wax that makes each piece unique.
The Wax, Stone, Light Collection by Linde Freya Tangelder – based on five totem-like columns, each of different dimensions and composed of sculptural blocks made of blown Murano glass – serves as inspiration for various options to illuminate a broader selection of spaces. The cube-shaped modules that comprise the five pieces in the first collection were reinterpreted to bring to life new configurations: a pendant lamp and two appliques, one rounded and one with more linear shapes, carved from cut cubes. Made of Murano glass blown inside cast-iron moulds by skilled artisans, the blocks also retain the unevenness of surfaces hand-worked with wax that makes each piece unique.
