The wafer-thin gold only allows short-wave blue light to pass through, so that the light point of the luminaire has a bluish shimmer. Warm, golden yellow light is reflected by the gold layer, creating a wonderfully warm atmosphere. One luminaire – many possibilities: With optional additional panels, which can be arranged and aligned in different ways as desired, 24 Karat Blau Flat can be transformed into an individual work of art. The luminaire was developed by Axel Schmid, who has been part of Ingo Maurer’s creative team for more than two decades and has already designed the previous models in the series.
